Mastering Pentatonics

Learn to solo across the fretboard with ease

Pentatonics are one of the most basic scale forms, yet everyone uses them. From novices to the most advanced players, these tools are extremely widely used and applicable to a huge variety of musical situations. Learning to use them effectively is an important part of every guitar players journey. 

This course is designed to take you from a basic level of understanding and show you how to become fluent in these patterns all across the neck, in any key. It's designed to show you how to practice them in a way that directly translates to playing great solos. 

Initially we'll look at getting familiar with the five standard shapes, and then we'll jump into a series of exercises that employ a variety of rhythms and techniques. We'll practice bending, sliding, shifting positions and legato techniques (hammer ons/pull offs) to give you a toolkit to sound expressive and musical when soloing in a wide variety of musical scenarios.
